It is also recommended to login as it allows you to save your work directly to your OneDrive and allowing you to keep your files stored in the cloud, securely.ġ0. Once signed in, you will be prompted to remember your details and optionally allow University to Manage Your device. You may need to login to the Office App such as Word at launch for the first time in order to activate the software. Once the installation has finished you will be prompted to agree to terms and conditions and start using the Office 365 Apps.Ĩ. Shortly, you will see a new window indicating that the installer is getting ready and preparing the files for installation ħ. Once the download has completed, an installer will initiate automatically and start installing Microsoft Office 365 Apps Ħ. ![]() You will be prompted to download or run the installer, click Run (if you have downloaded the file, run it from the location you have stored it to) ĥ. Sign in to Office 365 Portal by using your student number followed by Once signed in, click the Install Office apps drop-down menu and select Office 365 Apps:Ĥ. Microsoft 365 Apps allows for the installation on up to 10 devices. Microsoft 365 Apps is not a web-based version of Office-It runs locally on your computer, and you don't need to be connected to the internet all the time to use it. You can use these applications to connect with Microsoft 365 services such as SharePoint Online. It includes the applications you're familiar with, including Access, Excel, OneDrive, OneNote, Outlook, PowerPoint, Publisher, Skype for Business, Teams, and Word. Microsoft 365 Apps, formerly Office 365 ProPlus, is a full version of Office. Then click the desired service on the top right corner of the menu bar. To use Office Online, sign in to your Microsoft 365 account. Save documents, spreadsheets, and presentations online, in OneDrive. ![]() If your device doesn't have the Office applications installed, you can still create and edit files using the online applications. Collaborate for free with online versions of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and OneNote. Using the online app, you can quickly switch to the desktop version with just one click. You can create Word, Excel, and PowerPoint files from any device using just a web browser, though some functions are only available using the full application suite. Office Online provides browser-based, online versions of the Office applications. After that, students have the option to purchase the subscription for that service through Microsoft. Students will retain access to OneDrive for a minimum of 365 days after they leave the University.
